Description

This Astrobin Debut Object is a spiral galaxy located 385 million light years away in the constellation of Draco at a declination of +69 degrees.  It spans 1.3 arc-minutes in our apparent view, which corresponds to a diameter of 140,000 light years.

I could find no information on this galaxy.  It has a fascinating dark dust lane running through the centerline, looking a bit like a Sombrero Galaxy which is slightly  inclined from edge-on.  I also see faint arms extending to the bottom left and upper right, which I find unusual for a galaxy with such a strong mid-line dust lane.
